You can get a 12-drink cocktail tower at this Brooklyn steakhouse
Few things are as festive as gathering a group of pals to gab over a large-format cocktail, whether it’s a big ol’ bowl of rum punch, an oversized pitcher of vodka-splashed lemonade or a big-batch jug of party sangria. And now at the Brooklyn Chop House—a steakhouse chainlet with locations in Times Square and the Financial District—you and your best boozehound pals can experience a new shareable creation called “The Brooklyn Tree House.”

But this “tree house” is less lumber and more liquor: the head-turning cocktail tower allows bargoers to select three different cocktails, frozen or mixed, for their own custom 12-cocktail display. Among the drink options are a Lemon Drop, a Lychee Martini, a Perfect Margarita, a Spicy Watermelon Cooler, a Cucumber Mint Cooper, a Sour Diesel (D’USSÉ VSOP Cognac, fresh lemon juice, peach schnapps, grapefruit juice and agave syrup) or one flavor of frosé (lychee, peach, strawberry-watermelon).
And, along with being a party-starting drink order, since most of the cocktails on the restaurant’s bar menu are individually priced between $17 and $20 a pop, $95 for a twelve-drink tower is a steal (and is further proof that it is still very much possible to get a quality cocktail for $10 and under in New York City). Plus, unlike those one-drink-and-done punch bowls or party jugs, the novelty item caters to a variety of preferences and allows everyone to order whatever individual cocktail will best whet their whistle.
