Yes, You Can Taste The Krabby Patty Right In NYC — No Visit To Bikini Bottom Required
Looks like Bikini Bottom’s most coveted recipe has made its way to NYC thanks to the Harlem Shake x Krabby Patty Kollaboration. (Or at least an interpretation of it!)
SpongeBob SquarePants is turning 25 — if you can believe it — and to celebrate the occasion, our porous and yellow pal has decided to share his fry cook skills with one of the best burger spots in NYC. To think, Plankton has been pining after the recipe for a quarter century, and here we are, about to revel in The Krusty Krab’s beloved meal. Sorry, Plankton!
All about the Harlem Shake x Krabby Patty Kollaboration
From October 8th to 27th, hungry New Yorkers can order some of SpongeBob’s favorite items:
- A Krabby Patty ($15): Square P(l)ant “Chicken” Patty Grilled Pineapple, Boston bibb lettuce and MeSoSea Sauce on Martin’s Potato Roll
- Krabby Fries ($6): Fries with MeSoSea dip
- Under the Sea Shake ($9): Pineapple Flavored milkshake with whipped cream
All of the goodies are available at both of Harlem Shake’s locations. What’s more, if you find yourself out of town — now’s the time for fall getaways, after all — there are a bunch of cities and eateries participating in the Krabby Patty Collab from coast to coast, and even in London. The “Kollab,” a brainchild of Paramount, has all of the details on its website, if you’re cruising around this autumn.
Fair warning, however: this isn’t quite the exact version of a Krabby Patty. Remember, only SpongeBob can make it.
Regardless, we’re definitely ready to dine like someone who lives in a pineapple under the sea. No need to tell us twice, Mr. Krabs.
