Watch Timothée Chalamet Perform His Favorite Bob Dylan Songs On ‘SNL’
Timothée Chalamet’s SNL double duty on January 25th was, of course, an ode to Bob Dylan.
After portraying the blues crooner in A Complete Unknown — which earned him an Oscar nom — the 29-year-old actor decided to show us how much of a Dylanologist he’s become by performing the artist’s lesser-known hits: a medley of “Outlaw Blues” and “Three Angels” and “Tomorrow Is a Long Time,” none of which were in the new film.
“You might not know the Bob Dylan songs I’m performing, but they’re my personal favorites,” Chalamet said during his monologue. “I’m so grateful Saturday Night Live is still doing weird stuff like this 50 years in. “They’re either really nice for letting me do this or incredibly mean and this is all a big prank.”
Well, the joke’s on everyone who had doubts because we’d totally add these jams to our Spotify playlists.

For the past five years, the actor has been working on his transformation into the famed singer, and judging from his SNL performance, there will always be a little Dylan in his mannerisms.
“Once I was in it, there was no coming back. I was fully in the Church of Bob,” he said, according to Searchlight Pictures. Have a look at his singing chops below.
James Blake joined Chalamet on the keyboard for the fun performances as well — a major win for the fellow music buffs tuning in. Which songs most impressed you?
