The Hogwarts Express Is Rolling Onto NYC Tracks For The First Time Ever

Grand Central is an iconic transportation hub, taking you from NYC to destinations Upstate, on the West Coast, and soon, Hogwarts!

For the first time in history, the fan event of the year, “Back to Hogwarts” is bringing the Hogwarts Express to NYC. The special experience is touring a few global cities to see the iconic train against the The National Gallery, Eiffel Tower, Copacabana Fort, Hachiko Statue and Grand Central Terminal.

The entire pop-up will take over Vanderbilt Hall at NYC’s Grand Central Terminal from August 30th to September 1st. Fans can expect a quidditch experience, enchanting performances, LEGO building and butterbeer provided by the Harry Potter New York store.

On the final day of the pop-up, lucky ticketholders will get to partake in a live 11am countdown moment. More details for how to score free tickets to come.

Theaters around the world will host exciting Back to Hogwarts screenings from now through September 1, 2024, in addition to the in-person touring pop-up activations.

All of the exciting celebrations, whether they’ll be in-person or digitally, will take over cities like London, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Madrid, Hamburg, Tokyo, NYC and possibly even more!
