Strong Rope Brewery Unveiled: Cheer, Sip, and Relish

Strong Rope Brewery is one of NYC’s best venues for enjoying authentic hand-crafted beers. This licensed New York State Farm Brewery and Taproom has an impressive selection of ales and lagers: classic, contemporary, and innovative. Strong Rope’s professional brewers use only locally sourced ingredients from New York farms and malt houses. They also serve New York state wine, spirits, ciders, and seasonal specialties like hot toddies and cocktail slushes. With scenic outdoor seating, private and semi-private events, and year-round fun activities the vibes of this brewery are excellent, making it a lovely hangout and leisure spot.

Background on Strong Rope Brewery

Jason and Christina established Strong Rope Brewery in 2015, combining their passions for homebrewing and sustainability. They set up the first brewery and taproom in the heart of Gowanus in Brooklyn. Their flagship brewery and taproom followed this at the Red Hook Waterfront in Brooklyn and the Strong Rope seasonal taproom at Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks.

This family-run establishment is committed to local sourcing and community development. The menu features malt—and hop-forward brews with a unique flavor profile. In particular, the Indigenous craft beers (IPAs, ales, pilsners, lagers) celebrate the character, multiplicity, and agricultural splendor of New York.
