The Frick Collection in NYC is recognized internationally as a world-class museum and research center. For a limited time, it’s offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see its’ classic collection of notable paintings and sculptures at Frick Madison, the museum’s temporary home (while its permanent location undergoes renovation). Explore works by Bellini, Gainsborough, Goya, Holbein, Ingres, and many others at Frick Madison, located at 945 Madison Avenue at 75th Street. 

There are floors of incredible art to be seen and even rooms dedicated to specific artists. These masterpieces from the Renaissance to the early twentieth century will only be available to see until March 3rd!

The second floor is dedicated to works of art from Northern Europe, including a room devoted to Rembrandt’s pieces. On this floor, for the first time ever, guests can see the Frick’s eight portraits by Van Dyck displayed together in one room.

Italian and Spanish art is shown on the third floor of Frick Madison. Here you will see early religious-themed works as well as Venetian Renaissance masterpieces by Bellini and others.

The Frick’s temporary home is the Marcel Breuer–designed building on the Upper East Side, which was once the home of the Whitney Museum of American Art. The museum’s permanent East 70th Street buildings are expected to reopen to the public in late 2024.

Children under the age of 10 are not admitted, but Frick Madison offers free youth admission for visitors ages 10–17. There are also discounts for seniors and students (with I.D.). The museum also offers pay-what-you-wish admission on Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. For a full list of admission prices and hours, go here!
