FACADE INSTALLED AT 600 WEST 125TH STREET

Harlem Bespoke:
What looks like a luxury condo building rising quickly at 600 West 125th Street is actualy student housing for Columbia University at the Manhattanville campus by the elevated Broadway subway station. This appears to be one of those situations that the new development is installing facade details before even topping off. From the looks of the massive crane that is still on site, there appears to be many more floors to go. Check out our past post from 2021 when the rendering was first revealed on the plywood out front: LINK

This Beyoncé Laser Show Is Put On Inside A Planetarium

On one hand we can’t deny wanting to see Queen B at MetLife Stadium this summer, but on the other hand we also can’t deny that we don’t just happen to have an extra $300 lying around for tickets–though we so wish we did.

Well what if we told you there was another way you could still sing along to Bey’s best hits, and likely in a way you never have before?!

Liberty Science Center is putting on a pretty crazy (in love) Beyoncé Laser Show that will happen each afternoon the center is open now through May!

So sure, while you may not be able to see Queen B strut her stuff across the stage in person, you can still sing along to her tunes and dance along to the beat with high-tech timed lasers that are produced using 88 million pixels and 281 trillion colors. Yes, you heard us right, that’s trillion with a “tr”!

What’s even cooler is that the laser show will be held inside the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the largest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere! And, well, we bet you can’t say you’ve ever done that before.

Plus, there will even be a special Beyonce-themed “After Dark” event on Thursday, May 18, that you definitely won’t want to miss out on!

The Beyoncé Laser Show, which is 25 minutes long, will be available as an add-on to your general admission ticket.

Liberty Science Center is located at 222 Jersey City Blvd, Jersey City, New Jersey, and is under an hour drive from Manhattan. You can learn more at Liberty Science Center’s website here.
