Living in NYC for most of my life I’ve seen many a curbside shrine. There are only a few though that stand out in my mind. One was for the 15 yr old who was killed on 125th across a few years ago. It was only a small collection of hand written notes, washed out by the rain that only enhanced its sadness. The other was of a sea of about 1000 Hennessy bottles crowding around the obligatory cardboard box with a photo in it. And then today in Inwood, I saw this:
