According to World Population Review’s Friendliest States 2024, New York is the least friendly state in all of America. Sure we’ve got a hard shell, but we’re just a bunch of softies underneath and last place seems a bit ridiculous if you ask us.
The study was based on personal experience, each state’s average tipping rate and Big 7 Travel‘s Instagram poll, surveying 2.5 million followers. Therefore, keep in mind tourists have decided this ranking.
Winning the title of the most friendly state in America is none other than Minnesota. Known for its Midwestern charm, it seems “Minnesota nice” is a real thing. Its residents are known for being polite and kind to all who visit. Meanwhile, it seems like the East Coast has a bit to make up for in terms of being welcoming…
