More Than 2 Million Twinkling Lights Are Adorning Hudson Yards For The Holidays
From Rockefeller Center to Fifth Avenue, there’s nowhere quite like NYC during the holiday season. But one of our favorite NYC holiday destinations in the last few years has been Hudson Yards. And lucky for us, the 5th Annual Illumination of “Shine Bright at Hudson Yards Presented by Wells Fargo” will return on November 25th, with more than two million twinkling lights decorating the neighborhood.
For whatever you celebrate this holiday season, there’s sure to be a little something for everyone!
Here are all of the 2024 Hudson Yards holiday events
“Celebrating the holidays at Hudson Yards has become a cherished, time-honored tradition in New York City. We are excited to mark the fifth year of making unforgettable memories for visitors again this holiday season,” said Stephanie Fink, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Partnership and Events for Hudson Yards.
Shrine Bright at Hudson Yards Presented by Wells Fargo
Our personal favorite part about the holidays at Hudson Yards has to be the more than two million twinkling lights on display. The endless string lights actually amount to 115 miles total! And who says NYC doesn’t have enough greenery? Hudson Yards will have 725 evergreens on view!
Plus, you can’t miss the two hot air balloon displays: one can be found in the Public Square & Gardens that’s 16 feet tall, and another, a 32-footer, that will be suspended from The Great Room of The Shops & Restaurants. Even the Vessel will be bedecked in lights.
Monday, November 25th
Here Comes Santa Claus
Take the kiddos to see Santa who’s arriving on his sleigh at The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards Level 3. Everyone can meet Santa for free, following a first come, first served basis.
Black Friday, November 29th, and every Monday – Friday from Dec. 2nd – Dec. 23rd from 5-8 pm
Hanukkah Menorah Lighting
Join the Chabad of Midtown at the beginning of Hanukkah for a menorah lighting at the Public Square & Gardens.
December 25th
Holiday Shopping
Beyond getting your seasonal shopping done at all of the festive holiday markets, you can look at gifts for everyone on your list in Hudson Yards.
Wells Fargo Customer Lodge
New to Hudson Yards this year is the Wells Fargo Customer Lodge. Lounge members will have access to complimentary drinks, snacks and seating to unwind during the chaotic season. Entry is granted to Well Fargo customers by showing a Wells Fargo Debit Card, credit card, or Wells Fargo Mobile® app. Find the lounge on Level 2 of The Shops at Hudson Yards.
Opens December 4th
Sip & Shop presented by Mastercard
For one-night only, the public will be privy to a special Sip & Shop event presented by Mastercard. Grab some bubbly at the more than 10 Pommery Champagne bars, enjoy music from a live DJ, and taste light bites from various Hudson Yards restaurants. But of course, the main attraction of the event is to get your shopping on where you can take advantage of incredible offers and discounts. Moreover, Mastercard holders will have special access to a VIP lounge with exclusive benefits.
