It’s Showtime — Airbnb Is Hosting A Visit To The Beetlejuice House

If you’re craving a strange and unusual excursion, the Beetlejuice house is welcoming guests for a visit, courtesy of Airbnb and none other than Delia Deetz. But don’t say we didn’t warn you about getting pulled into the Afterlife.

While we’re all for a trip to nearby Halloween towns, there is truly no better way to spend spooky season than by scoping out the Deetz quarters. Lucky guests who reserve a spot can enjoy making themselves comfy in Delia’s moody, modern living room before enjoying some painting themselves, but they might want to be prepared for the restless souls that set up shop in the attic.

Full disclosure: If you decide to say his name three times (Beetlejuice, of course), there’s no telling what could happen — you just might very well end up in the dreary, green waiting room in the Afterlife.

All about your stay at the Beetlejuice house

From November 16th to 27th, Delia is extending an invitation to guests for 10 three-hour blocks for up to parties of six. Here — in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey — they can revel in her glorious paintings and sculptures, wander up to the attic and explore the Maitlands’ model of Winter River, and of course, get sucked into Beetlejuice’s paranormal world filled with wonky hallways and doors that lead to some crazy places. (Should you need help getting back to the Land of the Living, allow Bob the Shrinker to guide you.)

“Now that my work is posthumously appreciating in value and recognition, it’s only fair that artistic souls be invited to my magnificent home,” Delia said, according to Airbnb. “So, come admire my life’s work and Create with a capital C in the first-ever art class from beyond the grave. Just watch out for that pesky trickster in the attic!”

Be sure to use your experience in the house for creative good and make Delia proud. Oh, and there’s no need to worry about finding the place — it’s cloaked in a dark, black veil, as the Deetz family is currently in mourning.

Requests for a stay are now open and free. However, you’ll need to have an active Airbnb account and the app to participate. Additionally, you must be a resident of an eligible country or region. The requests close on November 5th at 2:59 a.m. Learn more on the Airbnb website.

It’s showtime! Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice is out now.
