Here’s Where To Watch The 2024 Olympics In NYC

The 2024 Paris Olympics are now fully underway, and if you’re not going abroad to check it out yourself, there’s still ways to watch here in NYC! It’s happening now until August 11, when the closing ceremony will take place signaling the end of the games. If you plan on wanting to watch Team USA (and beyond) compete in the World’s Games, we’ve got some spots for you to do it!

From big screen watch parties to sports bars with Olympics-themed menus, there’s a little something for everyone. Here’s the best places to watch the 2024 Paris Olympics in NYC over the next few weeks.

1. Rockefeller Center

From now until Sunday, August 11th (Closing Ceremony), you can stop by The Rink at Rockefeller Center, which has transformed into NYC’s very own Olympic Village. Complete with two big screens broadcasting the games, visitors can take photos on a Paris podium, taste test Parisian food and drink, and compete against each other in table games. 2. Hudson Yards

Hudson Yards’ famous Big Screen is back again for the Olympics, offering one of the largest watch parties to New Yorkers during the entirety of the games. The 30-foot screen in the Pubic Square and Gardens will showcase various events throughout the whole 2 weeks from around 9 am – 10 pm.

Plus, on July 30 there will be a Parisian-inspired Café Recupé Pop-up where you can meet Olympic Gold Medalists Ashley Caldwell and Justin Schoenefeld!

3. Treadwell Park

With two different locations in NYC (Battery Park City & Upper East Side), Treadwell Park is showing the Olympics on their 20 flat-screen TVs, all while serving 20 rotating craft beers. It’s a great spot to grab a pint and watch some action.

4. Loreley Beer Garden

Root on Team USA at Loreley Beer Garden in the Lower East Side, where the special Olympics-themed frozen drink, the Frosé, White & Blue topped with a gold-medal wearing rubber ducky and American flag is currently on sale. 5. The Standard Biergarten

The Standard Biergarten is hosting live screenings of the Olympics, where guests can watch the games, play table tennis, and indulge on a special cocktail menu, inspired by the multinationalism of the games.

Alongside their classic German beer and pretzels, New Yorkers can partake in a special cocktail crawl, collecting stamps corresponding to different themed cocktails in a “BG passport.” If all five stamps are collected they can enjoy 25% off their next visit! Learn more here.

6. Electric Shuffle

Electric Shuffle just opened a few weeks ago, and this new bar is a great spot to play some shuffleboard and watch Team USA. 7. Printer’s Alley

Watch the Olympics with the sound on at Printer’s Alley, where there’s also plenty of Olympics food and drink specials happening through out the games. 8. Versa

If you’re looking for a rooftop bar option to watch this year’s Olympics, head to Versa in Midtown. Their 16-foot jumbo screen is the ideal place to watch the likes of the USA Men’s Basketball Team, Katie Ledecky, Simone Biles, and the rest of Team USA!
