Summer is all about getting outside and enjoying the extra hours of sunlight! There are plenty of fun and free ways to do that at Manhattan West (385 9th Ave, Midtown). The destination is a one-stop shop for foodies, shopaholics and more!
Every Tuesday throughout July, Summer Sounds will make your lunch hour a lot more entertaining! From noon to 1pm, Manhattan West Plaza will come alive with talented musicians from around the globe! Catch artists such as The Ebony Hillbillies, who combine bluegrass, pop, jazz and more – or vibe with Brazil’s Luca Mundaca. Don’t miss the Villalobos Brothers who are Grammy award-winners belting out Mexican folk songs!

Post-summer, head back to Manhattan West Plaza Wednesday evenings in September from 4:30-6:30pm for the Works & Process: Gather Round music and dance series! On the heels of break dancing’s debut at the 2024 Olympics, see street and club dance commissions made for the Guggenheim Museum’s rotunda at the Manhattan West Plaza event circle. Each week, street and club dancers will battle it out for the glory and prizes!
