Here Are The Top Free Things To Do At World Trade Center This Summer
Get a little slice of relaxation in the heart of bustling Downtown. There are many free things to do this summer at the World Trade Center Oculus. From enjoying wellness activities to shopping, film, and food, there’s plenty that will enrich the rest of your summer. The World Trade Center Oculus is located at 50 Church Street.
For the rest of the summer and into the fall, Wellness Wednesdays offers a wide range of fitness and wellness classes. Go here for a full list of programming here! Join in Sputnik Flow yoga, Somatic Movement which combines dance and yoga, and Elevé Sculpt which is a full-body workout. You can even learn Argentine Tango at an introductory class and Yang Yin which involves breathwork and longer balancing yoga.
On certain Friday Nights and Saturday afternoons during the summer, film fans will get a taste of Oculus Outdoors which will show different films. Bring chairs and blankets and get comfy at this unique movie experience! RSVPing is recommended which you can find out about here as well as the full list of films shown.
Wellness Wednesdays and Oculus Outdoors occur at the North Oculus Plaza. This is located outside the Oculus on Fulton St., between Church and Greenwich Streets.
From fitness and film to food! Under the wings of the Oculus, find the Greenmarket at the Oculus open every Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are dairy products from New York family farmers at GrowNYC and a variety of seasonal produce, baked goods, and more!
Also for foodies, Smorgasburg is back on Fridays and select Thursdays over the summer featuring eats from over 30 local vendors.
