Harlem’s First Trader Joe’s Opens To Shoppers Tomorrow
Harlem will welcome its very first Trader Joe’s on Thursday, July 25th at 123 W 125th St. According to 6sqft, the new store will open its doors to shoppers at 8am after a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Fans of the cult-followed grocery store can expect to buy all of their favorite items across the 17,800 square feet in a development that will also host a Target, Pandora and Sephora.
“We’re happy to be part of your community, and proud to offer you unique products and an exceptional shopping experience, every day,” Trader Joe’s wrote about the new location on their website. Moreover, the company shared that all of the unsold items at the Harlem location will be given to local community-based organizations, as reported by Pix 11.
Manhattan is already home to nine Trader Joe’s locations, with a total of 17 across the five boroughs. In fact, the very first to open was the 14th Street Union Square location back in 2006.
If you’ve always admired the niceties of the workers at Trader Joe’s, it’s your chance to join the team now as they’re looking to hire 100 new employees.
