If you’ve never heard of Teddy Swims, you will soon: The rising superstar has been getting lots of recognition lately, including a nomination for best new artist at the MTV music awards last year. Swims, who blends pop with country and soul to create a sound that feels simultaneously familiar and fresh, is releasing his second studio album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2)—a follow-up to his 2023 album of the same name—this Friday, January 24.
For die-hard fans who want to hop on the album ahead of everybody else, Swims is hosting a concert at Webster Hall this Thursday, January 23, where he’ll perform some of the unreleased songs from his upcoming album. Here’s everything you need to know to get in.

Ticket sales opened today, January 22, at noon. They’re available for $15 here.
What time is the Teddy Swims concert?
Doors will open at 7pm for American Express Card Members, who will have one hour to get settled before doors open to the public at 8pm. American Express members will also receive exclusive on-site benefits including two Teddy Swims merch items for purchase and complimentary Teddy Swims tote bag that will be gifted along with any merch purchase from the event.

FKA Twigs is coming to New York: Here’s how to get tickets
In case you missed it, FKA Twigs has been performing at some pretty obscure Bushwick venues lately—most recently, at Market Hotel on Myrtle-Broadway to celebrate her birthday ahead of the release of Eusexua, her third studio album.
If you missed that very crowded, very sold-out appearance, don’t worry: the British alt-pop star is coming back to New York for her official tour, this time at a much bigger venue. Here’s how you can secure your tickets.

Where is FKA Twigs going to perform in NYC?
She’ll be coming to the Knockdown Center—a 3,200-person capacity venue above the infamous Basement nightclub—located at 52-19 Flushing Avenue in Queens.
When is FKA Twigs going to perform in NYC?
Twigs has two dates scheduled for the Knockdown Center: one on Thursday, April 3 and another on Friday, April 4. Doors open at 7pm on both dates.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for the New York leg of the “Eusexua” will go on sale starting this Friday, January 24 at 10am. You can get them through Bowery Presents or directly from the Dice platform. You can also try getting a Presale code on Eusexua’s website.
Where else is FKA Twigs touring as part of her 2024 U.S. and world tour?
FKA will have several appearances throughout Europe, including Prague, Berlin, Paris, Manchester and London. Her North America tour will include stops in Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco and, of course, New York.
The 2025 Critics Choice Awards Nominees Are Here: ‘Conclave’ & ‘Wicked’ Lead The Way
February is set to be a massive month for the film industry-with a handful of cinema awards coming up including the SAG Awards, PGA Awards, and of course the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards.
The Critics Choice Association has released their nominations for the best film and television nominees for this year’s ceremony. To no surprise, two of the year’s hottest titles Conclave and Wicked led the way with 11 nominatoins each, including Best Picture.
Right behind them are Dune: Part Two and Emilia Pérez followed with 10 noms, while The Brutalist scored 9 nods.
“This year brought us an incredible wealth of storytelling and performances, leading to indescribably close races for nominations,” said CCA CEO Joey Berlin in a press release. “We are honored to be able to celebrate our landmark 30th year of the Critics Choice Awards with this talented group of nominees and are thrilled to bring viewers our best show yet.”
This year’s annual Critics Choice Awards will hosted by Chelsea Handler, broadcasted live on E! on February 7th at 7 pm, and streaming the next day on Peacock.

Affordable Grocery Store, Lidl, To Open A Massive New Location In Brooklyn’s Gateway Center
Brooklynites can now save big on groceries as affordable German grocery store, Lidl, announces a brand new location opening in Brooklyn’s Gateway Center at 459 Gateway Drive on Wednesday, January 29th.
The grand opening will kick off with a special ribbon cutting beginning at 7:40am. Early shoppers can stay warm with a cup of coffee and a freshly baked croissant ahead of the celebration. Plus, the first 100 customers will receive gift cards ranging from $5-$100.
If you’re not an early riser, customers will be welcome to shop at the new location initially between 8am to 9pm daily.
