A Timothee Chalamet Look Alike Contest To Draw A Swarm Of NYC’s Hottest Rodent Men
In the latest news on hot rodent men, NYC is calling all rodent doppelgängers—no, actual rats are not welcome or wanted—to take part in a “Timothee Chalamet Look Alike Competition.”
Now if you’re still unsure what we mean by hot rodent men, it’s an internet trend that sparked from the eerily similar comparison to the latest celebrity heart throbs to rodent counterparts. To be clear, it’s not all about rats. Some stars resemble more of a capybara or squirrel.
So, who makes up this group of rodent-like men do you ask? Stars like Barry Keoghan, Mike Faist, Jeremy Allen White and of course, maybe the most rodent of the hot rodent men, Timothee Chalamet.
A flier announcing the competition went viral on X in late September, with a QR code linking to a Partiful event with more details.
The Partiful is hosted by a user under the name of Gilbert. With 900 confirmed RSVPs and more than 300 maybes as of today (10/8), the competition will surely draw a crowd. Not only will the Timothee Chalamet Look Alike Competition be hysterical in itself, it seems the best Timmy twin can win a $50 cash prize.
You must RSVP in order to get the location of the competition, but since we’ve already RSVPd (come on, who could miss an event like this?!) we’ll spill the secret that it’s all taking place at the Washington Square Park Arch on Sunday, October 27th at 1pm.
According to social media, the competition might even attract people from around the country with an account posting to X, “i’m actually very tempted to go on a two day trip there just for this since the flight was less than $200 round trip and i don’t mind being awake for 48 hours straight.”
But overall, most people shared in their hope to see the actual Timothee Chalamet in attendance. And though he is an NYC-native and often seen roaming the streets of his home city, it’s probably quite unlikely he’ll make an appearance. He has yet to make any comment about the competition.
However, the movie star was recently seen shooting his newest film Marty Supreme in NYC on a set that transformed the LES into the 1950s.
