A $300 Bomboloni Dipped In 24-Karat Gold & Adorned With Edible Jewels Is Being Served At This NYC Bakery
What if we told you you could wear your most precious jewels and…eat them too? No, this isn’t a joke–an over-the-top, luxurious bomboloni is being served at this NYC bakery and it’s dripping in jewels…literally.
Angelina Bakery’s latest indulgent creation comes in the form of a $300 bomboloni. The luxurious, Italian doughnut pastry is adorned with edible jewels and dipped in 24-karat gold flakes. And if that wasn’t enough it’s also elegantly presented in a vintage Tiffany box.
Owner Tony Park stated:
The clientele up here is high end, so the new bomboloni seems perfect.
We’re not entirely surprised about this new treat as Angelina Bakery, which quickly became NYC’s go-to bakery for Italian inspired delights, is known for offering high-end experiences you wouldn’t expect from your typical bakery. They even once served gelato from a custom Fiat car!
The $300 bomboloni is now available at Angelina Bakery’s new Upper East Side location. Naturally, orders are already pouring in with many eager to indulge in this one-of-a-kind treat, so don’t miss out on your chance to bond with others over your thoughts on the lavish pastry!
Keep in mind the bomboloni requires a two-day pre-order.
