NYC’s Only Parade Of Lights Will Be Bigger Than Ever This November

While NYC might not have a Christmas parade per se, Harlem Holiday Lights is an illuminating extravaganza that deserves a spot on all winter bucket lists.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 19th at 6pm — with a rain date of November 26th — when a record-number of 20 floats will dazzle spectators of the city’s only parade of lights. Considering New Yorkers are still mourning the fact that the Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Light Show has been cancelled, they’ll be pleased to know that plenty of other dazzling Christmas events are underway.

For the 31st year, the 125th Street Business Improvement District will break its own record with a whopping 20 floats, 40 watch areas, and activations throughout the community in celebration of this year’s theme, “Dance! Harlem’s Heartbeat.” If you fancy taking in a few holiday light displays, kick off the season by heading uptown.
