Seeing ‘Cabaret’ On Broadway Is A Night Out That Is Utterly Unforgettable

Well before the musical “Cabaret” even begins, guests are transported to the Kit Kat Club on each level of the August Wilson Theatre which is transformed and brings the club to life. This jaw-dropping production of the show welcomes Grammy Award nominee and Queen vocalist Adam Lambert who plays The Emce and Moana star Auli’i Cravalho as the one and only Sally Bowles.

Both performers deliver the powerhouse vocals and endless charisma we love them for. Lambert and Cravalho make their mark on this Tony Award-winning production. The acting, singing, production, and ambiance are all taken to the next level.

Set in 1920s Berlin, the environment “Cabaret” is in is a kaleidoscope of change. As viewers, we see the beauty of fun and exhilaration turn into a haunting shell of what was. We see characters go from being carefree to caged in caution. The cast and crowd are on a rollercoaster ride together, it’s a journey of love, sensuality, politics, oppression, detachment and so much more.

But before all of this, be sure to get there early to enjoy the vibes! Musicians and dancers are performing on each level and there are many hand-crafted drinks to be had.

There is no seat that doesn’t deliver at the August Wilson Theatre, located at 245 West 52nd Street. “Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club” invites guests to leave their worries at the door and we certainly did. But even when the night is done and the epic production is over, the message, the music, and the experience stays with you long after you leave!

Pro Tip: Sitting right by the stage at one of the tables also has its perks. Not only can you take advantage of exclusive dining and cocktail options, but you’ll also have the intimate experience of being up close and personal to the stage. Lambert might even sing to you!

We cannot say it enough, you have to catch Lambert and Cravalho performing in “Cabaret.” Catch them on select days from now until March 30, 2025! (The show is recommended for ages 13+).
