MTA Teases Billie Eilish Subway Announcements For MSG Concertgoers

The day when Billie Eilish will return to NYC and grace the stage at MSG has finally arrived, and the superstar is working with the MTA to entice her fans to get there by public transportation. She relayed a message to her fans encouraging them to “ditch the car and help the planet by riding the MTA to Madison Square Garden.”

MTA even shared a post to X explaining that taking the subway or LIRR to MSG is not only the most eco-friendly way to get there, but the easiest!

Eilish’s stance on climate change has long been clear. Her tour has even partnered with REVERB and Support + Feed, a nonprofit working against the climate crisis, founded by her mother, Maggie Baird.

For fans commuting via public transportation tonight, the MTA hinted that Billie Eilish herself might have a special message for them while they’re on route. We can only imagine (and hope) that it’s similar to when iconic New Yorkers like Jerry Seinfeld and Awkwafina were doing the subway announcements.

Super fans can also shop exclusive merch at the singer’s limited-time pop-up store in SoHo. And if you missed your chance to grab tickets to one of her three MSG shows, as they’re all sold-out, you can alway book a reservation at one of Eilish’s favorite NYC restaurants.
