The World’s Largest Rubber Duck Is Waddling Its Way To New York
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s actually the world’s largest rubber duck (so technically I guess it is a bird) and it’s making a splash in New York this weekend!
To share with you the sheer size of this ducky, it towers six stories high, reaching more than a whopping 61 feet. But this duck is not alone. She’s accompanied by her duckling, also known as Timmy. But little Timmy is only tiny to Mama Duck as he stands 10 feet tall.
Together the pair will be at Splish Splash in Calverton, New York from August 2-4, then back in the state from August 16-18 at Playland Amusement Park.

If you’re planning on catching the record breaking duck this weekend at Splish Splash, you should know that the first 250 guests to visit the duck each day will receive a free limited-edition World’s Largest Duck magnet. But don’t worry if you’re not among the first, because you’ll still get to enjoy photo-ops, exciting giveaways and scavenger hunts.
Can’t catch the ducks this weekend but you can make it out to Playland the third weekend in August? All you’ll need to do is purchase an admissions ticket to the amusement park and your entry will give you access to see Mama Duck and Timmy.

The world’s largest duck is set to continue its roadtrip after making an appearance at Playland with proceeding stops in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Virginia Beach, and Springfield Georgia.
