New York Has A Major Foot Fetish, Study Says

Did you know you may be living in a state with a foot fetish? FeetFinder, a platform utilized for the sale of feet pictures, conducted a study analyzing each of the 50 states and their interest in feet. The results? Shocking to say the least.

Using Google Keyword Planner to collect data, FeetFinder examined 27 keyword searches including: “how to sell feet pics”, “feet pics for sale”, “sell feet pics”, “sexy feet”, “pretty feet”, “good feet”, “hot feet”, “feet videos”, “sucking toes”, “bare feet”. The results were achieved by adding the number of searches for each term to reach a state total. State populations were then compared to totals to discover searches per 100,000 people.

Interest in feet is a very common sexual fetish. In fact, a blog post from FeetFinder states that one in three people express interest in feet and items associated with them (ie. socks, shoes, etc.). On average, Americans are searching the internet for feet 1,454,925 times per month.

“Foot fetishes are common across America and seem to be growing in popularity year on year,” echoed a spokesperson for FeetFinder. “Even so, celebrities including Britney Spears, Quentin Tarantino, and Elvis Presley have openly spoken about having a foot fetish. Today, the fascination with feet pictures is more socially accepted as individuals feel more comfortable expressing their interests and engaging with like-minded communities.”

New York ranked within the top 10 U.S. states obsessed with feet. More specifically, it ranked in seventh place, with 91,067 average monthly feet searches. That’s 462 searches per month per 100,00 people.

Nevada, Arizona and Florida stole the top three spots, in that order. Though Nevadans are searching for feet related queries less than both Arizona and Florida (17,078 searches per month for Nevada, 36,7789 for Arizona and a whopping 109,757 average monthly searches for Florida) when calculating search totals compared to state populations, Nevada came out on top with a total of 537 monthly searches per 100,000 people. Whereas, Arizona has an average of 500 monthly searches per 100,000 people and Florida has 493 searches per 100,000 people.

The top 10 states with a foot fetish include:

2. Arizona
3. Florida
4. Colorado
5. Georgia
6. Texas
7. New York
8. North Carolina
9. Utah
10. California

For those curious, South Dakota ranked as the least interested state with only 2,613 average monthly searches.

So whether you’re into it or not, New York continues to make national rankings whether it’s as one of the best big cities in America, or now, I guess most feet obsessed!
