This Coworking Space Has A Snazzy Secret, & It Involves $10 Martinis

All work and no play is no way to live–that’s why we have our eye on this snazzy new Greenpoint opening that’s making time for live music from local DJs, good vibes, and, our personal fave, $10 martinis.

Nestled discreetly behind the coworking area in the Class & Co space is new haven for cocktail connoisseurs and art enthusiasts alike, taking the form of a hot new speakeasy, Wise Guy.

Those in the know that step through the silky drapes are immediately transported to a world where the ambience is as intoxicating as the cocktails themselves.

The space channels the secrecy of Prohibition-esque vibes, though each month it’s transformed into somewhat of an art gallery through rotating exhibitions that celebrate the diverse talents of the local art scene (in February they showcased photographer David Imel, according to their Instagram).

And now, let’s get to the cocktails.

At Wise Guy a menu of specially crafted cocktails take center stage, featuring a rotating menu of everything from innovative combinations and adventurous creations to tried and true classics.

Standouts include the Pomegranate Manhattan, with rye, sweet vermouth, pomegranate, luxardo, and cherry bitters, the Endless Summer, a combination of vodka, cucumber and basil syrup, pineapple, lime, and cherry bitters, Twilight, made with tequila, blackberry, sage, lime, and pomegranate, and the Pear 75, with gin, pear, brown sugar syrup, lemon, and prosecco.

The best part–they serve up $10 martinis all night long every Thursday!

Oh, and did we mention the rooftop terrace? Boasting stunning views of the NYC skyline and a relaxed atmosphere it makes for the perfect place to steal a quiet moment away from the hustle and bustle below–and just in time for the approaching rooftop season!

Wise Guy recently opened its doors at 750 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint this past January (2024).

According to Greenpointers they’re looking forward to hosting a number of fun events and eventually offering a food menu.

You can stay up to date with what they have in store on their Instagram.
