REPORTS: Mayor Eric Adams accused of sexual assault

Reports indicate that Mayor Eric Adams has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

The alleged assault reportedly took place in 1993 when the alleged victim worked with the mayor for the City of New York while Adams was with the NYPD’s transit bureau.

The plaintiff reportedly filed a lawsuit Wednesday and is seeking $5 million. The suit comes as the deadline nears for the Adult Survivors Act.

In a reported statement, a spokesperson for City Hall said the mayor does not know the alleged victim.
