1. Bedford Avenue

Williamsburg’s main strip of Bedford Avenue (conveniently located off the L train) is chalk full of trendy restaurants and shops that you should spend time exploring! We suggest starting at the south end of the street and heading north, trying out spots like Joe’s Pizza or a table at Sweet Chick, before eventually landing at McCarren Park!

2. Domino Park

Catch some sun or walk your dog through Domino Park, Williamsburg’s stunning waterfront park that offers incredible Manhattan skyline views. The 5 acre park is one of the best in all of NYC, and spans from S 5th Street to Grand Street. During the spring and summer, it’s the perfect place to go for a jog or lay out for a picnic. There’s also an awesome playground for kids, taco stand, and remnants of the old Domino Sugar Factory.

3. Smorgasburg

Every April – October, NYC’s premier seasonal food festival returns to Williamsburg, with over 100 food vendors! Smorgasburg is an open-air food market that takes over Williamsburg’s waterfront on Saturdays, where visitors can stop by and feast on the finest food around. Smorgasburg’s 2024 season is set to start up on April 6!

4. Brooklyn Brewery

Williamsburg’s powerhouse brewery is one of our favorite things to do in the area, and is a great place to stop for a pint along your travels. It’s home to their in-house brewed hops which you can taste test (and bring home with you), as well as unique brewery tours which give you a behind the scenes look at how the beer is made!

5. Brooklyn Bowl

In the mood for some bowling? Williamsburg’s Brooklyn Bowl is one of our favorite alleys to hit some strikes, listen to some tunes, and hang out with friends. Their high-tech lanes make them one of the best in the area, and their DJs and live music they book pairs wonderfully with the food provided by NYC’s Blue Ribbon!

8. McCarren Park

McCarren Park is the much larger park in Williamsburg at 35 acres, and it’s the perfect place to grab some fresh air or a spot on the grass during a nice day. It’s home to so many amenities as well that are available to the public, including a public swimming pool, a full size running track, soccer fields, a tennis center, and much more.

9. Williamsburg Bridge

The eye-catching Williamsburg Bridge connects Brooklyn to Manhattan, and its pedestrian walkway can be a good little stroll if you’re looking for a change of scenery! The route is just over 1 mile long, and will take you right into the Lower East Side after about 30-40 minutes or so. It’s also great for bike rides too!

We’ll start with one of Williamsburg’s hottest Italian restaurant reservations, and it’s Lilia. Chef Missy Robbins is at the helm here, and it’s gained extreme notoriety in recent years for pasta dishes like the Pink Peppercorn Mafaldini and Rigatoni Diavola. There’s also fish and meat on the menu too, but if you’re lucky enough to snag a table you can’t pass up a chance at what many call “the best pasta in NYC.

Le Crocodile is located inside the Wythe Hotel and takes our spot as the best French restaurant in Williamsburg. The all-day brasserie not only has a gorgeous dining room, but also a divine menu inspired by Paris. We recommend options like the Roast Chicken with Herb Jus and Frites, Escargots with Parsley, Pernod, and Fennel, and Leeks with Vinaigrette and Hazelnuts.

Score a table on the rooftop of The Hoxton, Williamsburg and you’ll be delighted to an award-winning Isreali spot that includes Manhattan skyline views. All the food here is cooked over charcoal grills, meaning their meat skewers and salatim are some of the best around.

Of course the natural wine is the celebrity on this menu, but don’t discount bites from their concise menu like Manila Clams, Crispy Potato Pavé, and Olive Oil Poached Cod.
